Andrew Tjioe

As President and CEO of Tung Lok Restaurants (2000) Ltd., Andrew Tjioe is not only the leader of the organisation, but he is also a highly established and well-respected veteran in the F&B industry in Singapore and beyond.

A keen gourmet with a strong passion in the restaurant business, Andrew also gained management experience by learning the ropes at the Tjioe family's first restaurant, then Charming Garden which opened in 1980.

Andrew established TungLok Group in 1984 with the opening of the Group's flagship TungLok Restaurant, located at Liang Court. The Group has since been well recognised as one of the largest and leading Chinese restaurant chains in Singapore. Under Andrew's leadership, the Group as grown significantly over the past 37 years and now owns, manages and franchises more than 30 restaurants in Singapore, Indonesia, China, Japan and Vietnam.

He currently holds the following portfolios:

  2. Vice Chairman of the Franchising and Licensing Association of Singapore (FLA)
  3. Vice President of the World Federation of Chinese Catering Industry (WFCCI)

Eugene Yap

President
Hotel & Restaurant Association of the Philippines

Eugene T. Yap is an experienced hotelier for almost four decades and has been with the Hotel & Restaurant Association for more than 20 years.

He is a graduate of the General Managers Program of Cornell University and also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration from UST and a Bachelor's Degree from the School of Law from Manuel L. Quezon University.

Eugene's untiring efforts have strengthened Philippine's ties with other ASEAN Hospitality Associations, as well as maintains a unified voice of the industry to other sectors.

He is also a lifetime member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, a member of the Corner Hotel Society, General Manager of Bayview Park Hotel and current Chairman and President of the Hotel & Restaurant Association of the Philippines (HRAP) and President of the ASEAN Hotel & Restaurant Association (AHRA).

Michael Tan

Chief Executive Officer

Michael Tan was the Director of Industry Operations before he took on the appointment as the CEO of Singapore Productivity Centre (SGPC). He has been leading a team of consultants and professionals to support the Food, Retail and Hospitality enterprises to be future-ready through capability development, innovation, digital transformation and new market creation.

He was also the Deputy Director of the Food Division in SPRING Singapore (now known as Enterprise Singapore), responsible for policy formulation and industry development.

From 1999 - 2009, Michael, was the Co-Founder and CEO of both i2u Pte Ltd and Smart Communications Pte Ltd, as well as the Founder and MD of Alstra Pacific Pte Ltd. This was also the period where he started many other enterprises and managed a wide range of business ventures across the region.

Michael has diverse experiences across several different industries, providing him with good opportunities to hone his business acumen and develop a deep understanding of growing enterprises today.

Nicholas Tung

Nicholas is a Co-Founder of EzBot, a company that aims to bridge the labour-intensive gaps of the F&B industry by introducing robotics and automation. He is also passionate about bringing values to businesses.

With the affirmation that automation exists to better our lives, Nicholas is determined to understand his customers' businesses thoroughly in order to bring about the desired transformation to them. With businesses' limited resources, Nicholas acknowledges that even though automation transformation is a wearying task, it will always bear a fruitful and enriching result.

Diana Teo

Diana is a co-founder of Waa Cow! a fast-casual restaurant serving up Singapore’s original flame-torched wagyu beef bowls. Waa Cow! currently has four outlets and has been rated as one of the best beef bowls by many local food reviewers. Diana is passionate about food and business, and loves the challenge of growing brands to their maximum potential.
